    Position: Financial Manager
    Reporting to: Executive Principal
    Vacancy for: January 2025
    Location: UFS International, Mhlambanyatsi, Eswatini

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support decision-making.
    2. Accounting & Reporting: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
    3. Cash Flow Management:Monitor and manage the school’s cash flow, working closely with leadership to ensure financial stability.
    4. Strategic Support: Partner with senior management in the creation and execution of financial strategies that align with the school’s long-term goals.
    5. Audit & Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and school policies.
    6. Staff Management: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
    7. Governing Council: Guiding, informing and reporting to the Governing Council on the financial performance and position of the school.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (CA certification preferred).
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Experience in an educational or international setting is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial software (ERP systems).
    • Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
    • Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
